Nice to see you again , after a nice long vacation . It was more than a month of wandering through those places so dear to me that I reach to see once or twice a year. One of these places is the village of my grandparents , Eibenthal , an amazing place that I captured in some pictures that you will see in a special post dedicated to this wonderful place. It is an isolated village , where animals are still used to plow fields instead of tractors, a place still protected from pollution, from all those stressful factors that we find everywhere. But stay close and you will see what I’m taking about.
Because it was a long break and I’m a restless person, I ” abused ” a little my blog and I made it ready for two important events in its existence as follows: first anniversary (in October) and the acquisition of a new camera (or so I hope) .
I wanted a new look for this space , a simple , clean layout , something to fit more with the photos I make.
I came back from my grandparents loaded with fresh goodies from the garden , jars of all kinds of homemade sauces and homemade cheese and I could not refuse myself a flourless cream cheese chocolate cake made with the cream cheese I brought.
I used the recipe for Flourless Chocolate Cake and I just added the cream cheese . You can use 300 gr cream cheese (add some orange zest and sugar if you want) . Put a layer of chocolate mixture in the baking shape, than a layer of cream cheese on so on. When you finished pouring the chocolate mixture and the cream cheese, mix gentle with the tail of a spoon just to obtain a marble aspect. Bake 20-30 minutes, let cool in refrigerator a few hours, then you can enjoy a delicious creamy texture cake !
